Simon Littlejohn

Lighting Cameraman

Rye, United Kingdom

A late starter filming wildlife, and correct to label myself as an aspiring cameraman, but a very determined one. I spent years photographing wildlife, including 3 years in a tent in Torres del Paine NP, Chile, chasing Pumas, but decided to start filming 2012,

In order to get much needed exposure and hopefully impress potential employers, I started filming rare species in my own backyard, so living in Andalucia at the time, putting the endangered Iberian Lynx and Spanish Imperial Eagle on the top of my wish list was a no brainer. I filmed both on my first trip. I was a crew member on BSC Round the World yacht race in 1992/3, so I am used to extreme weather. I spent the last 2 winters in the Alps and successfully filmed the Bearded Vulture mating. New website is under construction, links to 2 teasers below
