Blue Planet II success

New record viewing figures for latest Attenborough blockbuster, bringing more young people to watch wildlife films

14 million people have been watching Blue Planet II in aggregate viewing terms. That is a new record since the days when there were just a handful of channels to choose from.

This attention is great for the wildlife film industry and should lead to more commissions of all types of wildlife film. IAWF committee members Mark Payne-Gill and Gail Jenkinson have been working on Blue Planet II. We look forward to hearing some of their experiences, possibly in the next issue of the GTC's Zerb magazine. It would be useful to know of any other members who have been involved in this and other productions, as Zerb and other publications are keen to hear your tales.

This kind of exposure should be useful in attracting future work. Hit the "contact" button above.
