A new date has been set or the Wildlife Camera open day at the BBC Natural History Unit   DATE: Thursday 9 February 2012 TIME: 10.00am - 5.00pm RSVP required.

WILDLIFE CAMERA OPEN DAY – at the BBC Natural History Unit

TIME: 10.00am - 5.00pm
 
This is a very important event on the calendar and exclusive opportunity for members. No one else can get this kind of access. Please RSVP so we can ensure we get good enough attendance to keep this event going as the NHU put a lot of time, effort and expense into making this happen or us.
 
Morning:
The day will start with the opportunity to attend a number of workshops covering topics including:
 
* 3D
* Getting the best from Phantom High Speed/P2 Varicam/Red Epic
* Meta Data management & Workflows
 
There will also be the opportunity to try out a range of new Technology including the latest cameras, kit, toys and gizmos from Sony, Arri, RED, Vision Research (Phantom) and Canon.
 
 
Afternoon:
After lunch, Andrew Jackson, Head of NHU, will give an overview of the unit and outline of some future projects.  This will be followed by a variety of talks and presentations by NHU Executives and Producers and a glimpse into the commercial future by BBC Earth.
