As well as creating my own films my background has mainly been travelling and working on natural history and travel photographic trips. My journeys have taken me to Africa, Central America, Europe, Canada, the Middle East and Asia.
These have all been photographic trips focusing on natural history providing me with excellent opportunities and experience. From a very early age I have spent many hours watching and waiting, observing the behaviour of the various species or looking at the detail of the plants and environment in these destinations. Although mainly tropical destinations I have also experienced winter in the Artic circle (watching Orcas) and Canada's north, which I thrived on! Other exhilarating moments have been in rainforest canopies and camping in remote, wild and primitive deserts and savannas – so I'm used to roughing it.
