Entries for the Festival's prestigious Panda Awards, dubbed the green OSCARS, will be welcomed from Monday 25 January until Friday 26 March.

 
 

HD Futures: Camera Technology Workshop

Book now for the new Skillset funded HD Camera Technology workshop. Subsidised by Skillset, the course only costs £pound;300.

The course will be taught by Jonathan Smiles, Digital Production Supervisor whose work includes the BAFTA and Oscar nominated District 9, VFX,Green Zone, Red Riding, 1983, Lesbian Vampire Killers and Anonymous.

This Practical 2 day, hands on course will focus on film and television. It will introduce the principles of HD technology and tapeless digital workflow. It will explore the role of HD technology in production and post production processes and how it affects craft practises.

The course is aimed at Camera Operators, Camera Assistants or Directors who need to extend their knowledge of HD Camera Technology.
