Bristol Wildlife Filmmakers

Bristol Wildlife Filmmakers run professional courses for filmmakers and wildlife enthusiasts. We work on location and courses are timed to co-incide with a variety of wildlife events. You’ll learn field craft techniques, enhancing the likelihood of close encounters with animals, and hands-on filming experience will sharpen your camera skills. Editing sequences alongside professionals will give you an insight into creating strong stories and compelling narratives.

Canopy Access Limited

Canopy Access Limited provides safety at height for working on ropes in the rainforest canopy. CAL was set up in 1998 to provide camera assistance and technical rigging solutions for the wildlife TV industry and has been providing access, training and consultancy on a full time basis ever since.

Wildeye

Wildeye run a number of courses, workshops and training expeditions for aspiring wildlife film-makers and enthusiastic amateurs. If you are just starting out we suggest you start with the Introduction to Wildlife Film-making weekend in Norfolk, UK. From there you can go on to take more specialist weekend courses such as wildlife camera operator, creative video editing or wildlife sound recording. Wildlife Film Academy

The Wildlife Film Academy operates a globally unique one month intensive wildlife filmmaking course held in Cape Town, South Africa. It offers inspirational and informative wildlife filmmaking lectures by industry professionals and includes a spectacular all expenses paid field trip to a premier game reserve to film wildlife in close proximity. Each student, under the tutorage of post-production experts and using the latest editing equipment, produces their own unique five-minute short film.
