Plastic Oceans

Ever wondered where the plastic we use every day ends up?
Sadly its not just buried in landfill or recycled it ends up in rivers and seas, even out in the deep ocean desert. It is affecting the entire food web all the way up to you and me. This is a project I have been a part of from the beginning in 2009, working with friends from the BBC Natural History unit to make a film very close to my heart as a scuba diver and lover of the big blue. Please have a look at the website for more information. The team are currently in Sardinia filming the release of turtles who had ingested plastic. Follow them on twitter and facebook for updates.
Thanks
