
Andy Shillabeer is the current IAWF Chairman taking over from John Brown in February 2009.
Andy has over 15 years experience working worldwide, in a wide variety of filming techniques including natural history filming in the field and studio as well as documentary and drama/doc work and sync filming. he works in all formats inc: HD, digital hi-speed, S16mm and 35mm film. Andy is designer, owner and operator of the Black Widow cable dolly system and a Mo-Sys Motion Control / Remote Control system operator. He is based in the UK and USA.

Doug
is a freelance wildlife and documentary cameraman specializing
in wildlife and human documentaries, particularly in cold and remote
locations and both topside and underwater and has
won many awards including 3 BAFTAs, 2 Emmys and several Wildscreen
Panda Winners.
Equally at home in the studio or the field with experience in the tropics,
desert and polar regions and at altitude, he has experience of lighting
complex interiors and studio sets and shooting for graphics. John has made significant contributions to many award winning series and
programmes both for the BBC and other production companies and has twice
reached the finals of the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the year competition.
Martin
has extremely wide experience as cameraman and producer/cameraman.
As well as numerous natural history programmes, Martin has worked on feature
films, music videos and commercials. His many credits include the ground-breaking
series 'Supersense' (BAFTA nomination for photography), 'Lifesense', and
'Lake of the Flies' for BBC1 and National Geographic, which was a winner
at 1995 Jackson Hole Film Festival.
Justine's film camera career began in 1991 after she completed film school at the Bournemouth & Poole College of Art and Design. She is a very versatile sync and wildlife camerawoman and has many years filming experience in tropical, temperate,desert and arctic conditions.
Mike has worked in the film-making industry for the last 13 years. Since completing his BSc (Hons) degree in zoology, he has experienced nearly all aspects of programme-making.
Alastair is a Zoology graduate, film school graduate and co-founder and
Director of London Scientific Films, and is now freelance. Alastair has
also written and directed commercial documentaries, and has been a lighting
cameraman on commercial documentary sync. productions.
Over
the course of a 17 year career Mark has worked on natural history films
in over 40 countries gaining a unique range of skills in film
and video styles/techniques. Mark has experience working on several
35mm feature films, drama productions and commercials, presenter and
verity sync shooting, drama reconstructions and of course pure natural
history.
Robin is a Bristol based cameraman with a mixed background in both wildlife
and documentary camerawork and holds a BSc. Hons Degree in Biological
Imaging. Prior to starting his career as a cameraman, Robin spent twelve
years teaching adventure sports in a number of outdoor centres around
the world, allowing him to gain commercially recognised qualifications
in climbing/mountaineering, canoeing/rafting, sailing, power and snow
skiing.
Adrian Warren is a Director with considerable experience, including
camerawork and production. Adrian's impressive CV lists over 30 years
of production in the field as well as numerous awards and achievments,
including the development of the 'Moving Camera Wing Mount' Marks I and
II for fixed wing aircraft.
John was IAWF Committee Chairman from 2000-2004. A biology graduate,
John embarked upon a career in wildlife TV as researcher in 1983. He started
camerawork in 1987. John has wide experience of animal behaviour, especially
primates, and has worked in locations as varied as Argentina, Chile, Iceland,
Norway (Svalbard), West Africa, East Africa, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand
, Malaysia, and Australia.
David is an experienced and award winning cinematographer / director working in natural history and human documentaries (http://www.lunaseafilms.com). Originally trained at Oxford Scientific Films, he then relocated to Australia and finally settled in the USA. During this period he has worked in over 30 countries.
